The respective persons are eligible to apply for legal heir certificate in Andaman and Nicobar:- Wife of the deceased person.
- Son or daughter of the deceased person.
- Father or mother of the deceased person.
- Sibling of the deceased person.
Applicable Government Fee
The applicant can apply for legal heir certificate in Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar by without remitting any fee for the application copy of legal heir certificate.Concerned Authority for Certified Copy

The required documents are to be submitted along with the application form of the legal heir.- Death Certificate of the deceased person.
- Affidavit copy relating the details of surviving descendants of the deceased person.
- Proof of residence like Family Identity Card.
- Identity proof such as Electoral Photo, Identity card, Islanders Identity Card.
- Copy of Passport.
- Local certificate.
- Birth certificate of all the Children.
- Legal heir relating to deceased.

To apply for a legal heir certificate in Andaman and Nicobar, follow the steps below: Step 1: One needs to approach the District Tehsildar office for obtaining an application form for a legal heir certificate. Step 2: Then the duly filled application form has to be submitted along with the prescribed documents to the concerned authority. Step 4: Register for Creating Account The applicant has to register to login into the link for applying legal heir certificate. Step 5: Fill the Details The user has to create an account by entering the required details such as- User details.
