DDA Flats Housing Scheme 2018
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched a new housing scheme called the DDA Flats Housing Scheme 2018 for aspiring home buyers. This scheme is mainly for the people who are from the lower income group and the middle-income group. DDA is offering nearly 21,000 homes through this scheme. Through the DDA Flats Housing Scheme, the Government has plans to construct housing projects and help the people of every section realize their dream of owning property in the National Capital of Delhi.Types of Homes
The DDA has opened the application for the allotment of the three different types of homes. The price for each unit depends upon the size and location of the homes.- Janta Flats
- LIG [Low Income Group]
- MIG [Middle Income Group]
- HIG [High Income Group]
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be citizen of India
- The age of the citizen must be 18 years or above.
- The applicant should not own any property residential unit in Delhi, New Delhi/Delhi Cantonment. Also, he/she must not own property previously in his/her own name or in the name of his/her spouse or his/her dependent relations, including unmarried children.
- The applicant is eligible to submit one application per head.
- The couple can apply for this scheme separately. But, one has to quit the allotted home in case both husband and wife get selected in the housing draw.

Registration Fees
The registration fees for the Janta and LIG Flats is Rs.1 lakh and for MIG and HIG flats is Rs.2 lakhs.Steps to Apply for DDA Housing Scheme 2018 Online
The DDA provides both online and offline application system which helps people to get a DDA allotted home. The applicant can visit the official website of dda.org.in to apply online Step 1: Applicant must visit the official website of DDA using this link dda.org.in and check the flat location, unit detail and price. Step 2: Aplicant can download the application form and the brochure from the DDA’s website and also from the websites of the designated banks. Step 3: Applicant can make corrections/changes in the data in the online mode, within 72 hours from the date and time of submission of the application form. Step 4: Registration fee payment must be made in the DDA’s account through RTGS/NEFT and also manually if so desired, through challan. Step 5: Applicants needs to scan the documents and upload the same, while filling the application. Once all the required scanned documents have been attached and the final submission button has been clicked, a confirmatory email and an SMS is sent to the applicant.Offline Procedure
The applicant can collect the brochure and the application form, from the official website and DDA’s sales counter from the designated banks listed on the DDA’s website.
