A set of SMS codes are used to generate or cancel a generated e-way bill. This system must be used very precautiously as there must not be any mistakes in entering the information. Any taxpayer can utilize the bulk generation facility available in the common portal. All the taxpayers can implement this facility as soon as they automate their invoice generation system. Bulk requests could be prepared for an e-way bill with the help of a file from their automated system, and upload them into the portal generating multiple e-way bills avoiding data entry errors. One must formulate the e-way bill requests through JSON file to use the bulk generation facility. A taxpayer or transporter should organize the same from their automated system. If he is inept at doing so; he could just copy it on to the e-way bill requests, by retaining the format. This tool facilitates to authenticate and produce the JSON file.API Integration
The taxpayer must register the server details of his/her systems through which an e-way bill is generated, it is processed with the help of APIs of the e-way bill system. An API interface is a Site-to-Site integration of the taxpayer’s website with the EWB system. This integration helps to generate the e-way bill directly from the taxpayer's own IT solutions. The whole operation is automated without human intervention resulting in reduced data entry errors. In a nutshell, it helps to manage manpower and cost of the operation thereby saving time and eliminating human errors. All large taxpayers, who produce more than 200 invoices on a daily basis and registered with GST could utilize the API interface. To use the API interface, the registered taxpayer shall satisfy the following conditions to integrate the systems:- All the invoicing system should remain as automated and linked with IT solutions.
- The systems at the workplace should posses enough provision to upgrade the IT solutions to integrate it with the EWB systems, in compliance with API guidelines.
- Should be producing at least 1000 invoices per day.
- The system must have SSL based domain name and a static IP address.
- It must have a pre-generation system to test the API interface.
