Haryana Udyog Mitra Scheme
The Government of Haryana has initiated the Haryana Udyog Mitra Scheme under the guidelines of Haryana Skill Development Mission (HSDM). Haryana Udyog Mitra Scheme aims to institutionalize "earn and learn" concept for the youth which integrates industry-driven skilling and apprenticeship leading to employability. The objectives of Udyog Mitra Scheme are listed below:- To align vocational skills with apprenticeship and industry.
- To create a framework for the industry to participate by offsetting the cost incurred in hiring and training manpower.
- To develop a mechanism to associate youth with social schemes and by making an initial contribution towards the same.
- To link elements such as industry-linked skilling, apprenticeship and employability to develop entire chain value.
- To create a reward and recognition mechanism for the youth and industry.
Eligibility Criteria
The following criteria have to be satisfied to avail the benefits under this scheme:- The applicant must be the permanent resident of Haryana.
- The applicant should be within the age groups of 18 to 35 years.
Partnership Type
Under this scheme, industries are encouraged for partners who can train the youth into their workforce. The industries which are eligible for Udyog Mitra scheme are given here:- Industry associations
- Training partners
- Sector skill councils
- Captive employers or industries
- Manpower or staffing companies
Course Curriculum
- All the partners will be allowed to utilise their curriculum and the content developed by them. The conduct of training has to be approved by the NSDC or NSDA or concerned authority of MSDE.
- The eligible partners need to specify the course details along with the duration of the program. Also, Partners will be required to submit lesson plans as a part of the proposal.
- For the deployment of the training, specification of laboratory and classroom set up is required.
- In case of qualification for a job, the role has not been created by the Sector Skill Council (SSC), state committee under the Haryana Skill Development Mission (HSDM) would facilitate the creation of the qualifying criteria with the SSC and process for approval from the concerned authority.
Training Duration
The training duration for the non-residential candidates will be for 4 to 6 hours, and for the residential candidates will be up to 8 hours. Note: Training would be conducted on all days except on Sundays and public holidays.Incentives
The following are the incentives that are offered to the beneficiaries:Training Cost
The cost of training will be reimbursed under all the categories as specified by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The subsidy provided under the training cost is tabulated below:S.No | Categories | Financial Assistance |

State Apprenticeship
The maximum assistance of Rs.1500 per person would be provided every month by the HSDM towards State Apprenticeship Promotion. This benefits can be availed by the industry only after registering in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.Boarding and Lodging Cost
The boarding and lodging cost will be provided to the training partners or industries as per the common cost norms issued by the MSDE. The subsidy provided under the boarding and lodging cost is tabulated below:S.No | Categories | Financial Assistance |

Assessment and Certification Cost
The reimbursement for assessment and certification of trained youth would be provided, ranging from Rs.600 to Rs.1500 per trainee as decided by HSDM.Apprenticeship Completion Reward
HSDM will provide trainers with a one-time award of Rs.5000 on completing 12 months of apprenticeship. This amount would be paid directly into the bank account of the beneficiaries on successful completion and certification of apprenticeship.Social Security Support towards PPF Account
HSDM will provide social security support at the rate of Rs.500 per month for a year on a full-time job in the respective industries. The amount will be transferred into the PPF account of the applicant after successful completion of 6 months on the job. In case the applicant discontinues from the job, the respective financial support will be stopped and further no assistance against social security will be paid.Employment Generation Subsidy
The employment generation subsidy would be provided with the object of creating employment opportunities for the category of skilled and semi-skilled persons belonging to the state of Haryana. The following are the incentives provided under this employment generation. Mega Projects The industrial units employing a minimum of 50% persons under the Udyog Mitra scheme would be allowed for subsidy for five years at the rate of Rs.36,000 for SC/ST category and Rs.30,000 for general category. Large Projects The industrial units employing a minimum of 50% persons under the Udyog Mitra scheme would be allowed for subsidy for five years at the rate of Rs.36,000 for SC/ST category and Rs.30,000 for general category.Application for Udyog Mitra Scheme
To apply for Udyog Mitra scheme, follow the procedure mentioned below: Step 1: Access the official website of Haryana Skill Development Mission. Step 2: Click on the "Udyog Mitra Application Form" which is on the homepage of the portal. Step 3: The application form for Udyog Mitra scheme will appear as given below. Step 4: Enter the mandatory details in the application form and submit the form to the concerned authority of HSDM for approval. Step 5: The application received by the concerned authority (Proposal Evaluation Committee) will evaluate the details to select or reject the proposal. Step 6: On verification of the application, the final decision for approval will be made by MD-HSDM.Release of Grants
The fund will be disbursed to the beneficiaries in three instalments: 1st Installment: The first instalment of 30% is released by the department after the commencement of batch. 2nd Installment: The second instalment of 50% of the approved fund is released after certification done by providing assessment report and all certificates as enrolled in the MIS. 3rd Installment: The third instalment of balance 20% will be reimbursed on submission of placement record report with the offer letter and copy of apprenticeship registration.Popular Post
