Eligibility Criteria
In Gujarat, to obtain a marriage certificate, the following criteria must be fulfilled- The bride and groom should not be less than 18 and 21 years of age respectively.
- The bride and groom must have lived for at least one month in the district where marriage is to be registered.
Documents Required
The required documents are to be produced at the time of registering the marriage.- Age Proof - Birth certificate of both bride and groom.
- Address Proof – Ration card, Voter ID, Passport or driving license.
- Address Proof – Aadhaar card, Pan Card and Voter ID.
- Photographs of couples (Joint Photo of bride and groom).
- Affidavits from both bride and groom.
- Application form.

Offline Application Procedure
Follow the steps below to apply for the marriage certificate through offline mode. To obtain a marriage certificate, the eligible applicant has to visit the official web portal official web portal of e-District Himachal Pradesh. The application form can be downloaded by selecting the “Download Form” option on the portal. The application form is displayed below for quick reference: The applicant has to take print out and fill the application form in a prescribed format by enclosing the specified documents. Then the form must be submitted to the Sub Divisional Magistrate, who will provide the applicant with an acknowledgement slip. The marriage certificate is generally issued by the deputy commissioner, and that can be downloaded online as well.Online Application Procedure

Step 2: Click on "New Registration" which is displayed on the home page.
