Mukhyamantri Parivar Samman Nidhi Yojana
The Haryana Government has announced a financial assistance and security scheme for farmers in the State called Mukhyamantri Parivar Samman Nidhi Yojana. The plan was proposed by the Chief Minister during the state budget 2019-20. The project covers all the farmers with less than five acres of cultivable land and landless labourers. To develop the welfare of the farmers who work up to five acres of land and other agricultural families of Haryana who have a monthly income less than Rs. 15,000.Benefits of Mukhyamantri Parivar Samman Nidhi Yojana
Financial assistance or pension will be provided to the eligible beneficiaries under the scheme are given here.- Financial assistance of Rs. 6000 every year will be offered.
- A sum of Rs. 36,000 or a pension of Rs, 3,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month after the age of 60 years will be offered.
- Financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000 after five years will be provided.
- Insurance cover for the beneficiary is granted, and the premium will be paid by the State Government.
- Insurance of Rs. 2 lakh on the non-natural death and Rs. 1 lakh on disability shall be offered.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility standards of Mukhyamantri Parivar Samman Nidhi Yojana are given below.- The scheme can be availed only in Haryana.
- The scheme applies to a farmer with less than five acres of land.
- The monthly income limit of the farmers or labourers has to be less than Rs. 15,000.
- The age limit of the farmers of farmers has to be from 18-60 years.

The following documents have to be possessed by the beneficiaries to obtain the benefits of the scheme.- Residential certificate

Categories of Beneficiaries
There are two different categories of beneficiaries who can apply for the scheme and can be benefited by the government. The two groups offer choices on how the recipient can avail benefit from the system.Category 1
All the beneficiaries under the age group 18 to 40 years come under this category. There are in total of four choices on how beneficiaries can avail the benefits. Choice One: With this choice, the beneficiaries will get a sum of Rs. 6000 per year from the Government. This amount will be deposited directly to the bank account of the head of the family in three instalments of Rs. 2,000. Choice Two: The eligible family has to select a family member as the beneficiary. The nominated member then obtains Rs. 36,000 after five years from the date of joining the scheme. Choice Three: The selected person of the family can receive a pension of Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 15,000 every month instead of receiving a massive amount after attaining 60 years of age. The amount of the monthly allowance will be allocated depending on the joining date of the candidate. The earlier the applicant joins, the more pension amount he/ she can receive at the age of 60 years. Choice Four: In this choice, the selected family member hets an amount between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 30,000 after five years from the date of becoming a member of the scheme.Category 2
All the candidates in the age of 40 to 60 years of age come under this category. There are two choices for beneficiaries to avail the benefits of the scheme. Choice One: Candidates get a sum of Rs. 6000 per year in three instalments of Rs. 2,000. Choice Two: The beneficiary receives a sum of Rs. 36,000 after five years from the date of participating in the scheme.Insurance Coverage Under the Scheme
The beneficiaries also have the choice to opt for insurance coverage under the Mukhyamantri Parivar Samman Nidhi Yojana. The Government contributes the fund for the premium. The scheme comes with insurance of Rs. 2 lakh on natural death, accidental death and permanent disability of a family member. A sum of Rs. 1 lakh will be offered if the beneficiary faces a partial disability. If the member is already a member of Pradhanmantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana, the candidate receives a sum of Rs. 3000 after attaining the age of 60 years.Application Procedure
A separate committee will be formed in the State that decides the guidelines and other parameters of Mukhyamantri Parivar Samman Nidhi Scheme.
