Applying for Caste Certificate through CSC
Procedure for applying for Caste certificate through CSC is explained in detail below.Approach CSC centre
Step 1: Before applying for Caste certificate, check your name in the list issued by the Government of Odisha. You have to visit the nearest CSC centre.Submit an Application
Step 2: You have to submit an application in prescribed format for Caste certificate at CSC. Fill the caste application form duly according to the caste category. Separate application forms are available for SC/ST, SEBC and OBC category. OBC applicants can use this form for obtaining OBC certificate [pdf-embedder url="https://www.indiafilings.com/learn/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/OBC.pdf"] Step 3: Submit all supporting documents (refer above) to the CSC service operator. The request for Caste certificate will be forwarded online to the concerned authority, i.e., Tahsildar Municipality Officer or Revenue Mandal Officer. Note: CSC centre service operator will give a receipt with the Caste certificate application number. The same application number will also be sent to the registered mail ID and mobile number. Step 4: Concerned authority, will process the Caste certificate request online. Step 5: After downloading all verification and Proceeding documents, the Corresponding officer will take action for issuing Caste certificate.Application Status
