The Government of Rajasthan has launched the Kanya Shadi Sahyog Yojana to provide financial support to the daughters of scheduled caste tribe of the BPL family. Eligibility Criteria
This Kanya Shadi Sahyog Yojana by the Rajasthan State Government would apply to any girl who proposes to be married if her application satisfies the below criteria:- Applicant must be a native of Rajasthan
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old
- Assistance will be provided to the first two daughters of the family
Documents Required
The applicant must attach the following documents/certificates with the completed Kanya Shadi Sahyog application form:- Birth certificate
- Residence certificate
- Family income certificate
- Aadhaar Card
- Caste certificate
- Certificate of BPL or Antyodaya category
- Passport size photographs
- Bank account details
Application Process for Kanya Shadi Sahyog Yojana
To avail the benefits of this Kanya Shadi Sahyog scheme, the assistance amount can be received only after applying for a month before the marriage of the girl or 6 months after the marriage. The applicant can apply Kanya Shadi Sahyog Yojana through the following steps: Step 1: The applicants must visit the Social Welfare Department and contact the District office. Step 2: Obtain the application form for Kanya Shadi Sahyog Yojana from the concerned officer. The applicant can also download the application form from online. The application form for Kanya Shadi Sahyog Yojana is below for ready reference: Step 3: Complete all the necessary details in the application form and submit it in the office along with the required documents. Step 4: The application form will be verified by the officer and they will return a duly signed and stamped Acknowledgement Slip to the applicant.
