As per Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, society needs to be registered at the time of forming with an application at the concerned Registrar of Firms. Registration of Society needs to be done in the State where the society is situated or proposed to be located. Acceptable Name for Society
As per the provision of prevention of the improper use Act, 1950, society should not register with the name which is against the provision of an Emblem and Name. Within a district, two societies will not have similar names. Society can use words like co-operative, land development, reserve bank, union or State, Municipal or Chartered only after getting permission from the State Government.Fee for Registration

Step 3: Provide details of applicant details such as Name Surname, Gender, UID (Adhaar), Address and contact details. Upload Documents Step 8: Application form and affidavit, along with all other documents, need to be uploaded by selecting the document type. Enter the document name and click on choose file option to upload. Save Details Step 9: Click on Save Draft; go through all details before clicking on pay and submit. Make Payment and Submit Application Step 10: Click on Pay and Submit option. After successful payment, the society registration application will be forwarded to concern Registrar. Register of firms maintained at the Registrar office contains up-to-date information about the registered firm. On reviewing the application for society registration, the concerned registrar will approve the society registration.
